Kickoff
Here we get to work. We start setting high level goals, outlining necessary features, and establishing clear expectations. With your help, we translate our understanding of your organization into desired results, then define an actionable roadmap that will take us there.
How should it look?
Prototyping
We will deliver to you mockups of the overall look and feel of the site. Early on in the process we will let you know what material we will need from you, so there are no issues later. Generally we need clients to write some material for the site, however we can do this for you if needed. Websites contain a lot of writing, and it can be somewhat time consuming to get all this together.
Getting to work
Development
This is where the site really starts to come to life. We provide a link so you can watch the site be built day by day. We will regularly check in and make sure you are happy with the direction.
This is generally the longest part of the process, and can take anywhere from two weeks to two months depending on the complexity of the site.
Flip the switch!
Launch
Your site is complete, and we get to turn it on. This is the most exciting step in the process! We make sure everything is running smoothly, and begin training you to use your site. We use WordPress as it allows our clients to make small changes on their own. We work to make sure you are comfortable doing this if you need to; if not, we are happy to handle that for you as well.
Manage by email
Stability
With your site running, we work to make sure it stays healthy and up to date. We monitor the performance of the servers, ensuring your site loads quickly. As your organization goes through changes, we work to make sure your site stays aligned.
We like to call our approach "mange your website by email", and we really mean it. Everything you need done is just an email away, and you will never have to access the site internals if you do not want to.
